Big News: I’m Training for the 2026 Tour de Scottsdale Metric Century!

Hey everyone,

I’m excited (and a little nervous!) to share my next big challenge: I’m officially training to ride a metric century—62 miles—in the Tour de Scottsdale on March 28, 2026 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. This event is famous for its challenging and scenic courses that push cyclists to their limits, winding through the beautiful Sonoran Desert and mountains around Scottsdale. Here are all the event details: https://www.tourdescottsdale.org/Race/AZ/Scottsdale/TourdeScottsdale

Why am I doing this? For me, it’s about pushing my limits, building healthy habits, and sharing the journey with you all. Training means early mornings, late nights, and a lot of hours on the trainer (see my setup in the photo!). Every ride is a mix of sweat, setbacks, and those little victories that keep me moving forward.

But here’s the bigger picture: The Tour de Scottsdale is just the beginning. My plan is to take on a new endurance challenge every year—cycling, running, or both. I’m eyeing events like the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, Tour de Tucson, and more. Each challenge is a new adventure, a new story, and a new reason to keep improving and inspiring others along the way.

Here’s where I need your help: Participating in events like these comes with entry fees, gear, travel, and a lot of fuel (for both me and the bike!). If you’d like to support this journey—whether through sponsorship, gear, or just encouragement—I’d truly appreciate it. Every bit of support helps, and I’ll be sharing all the highs and lows as I work toward these goals.

And for those who step up as sponsors: you’ll get a special shout-out in every post about the journey, plus your name (or business) will be featured on the About page of our Patreon. You’ll be right there with me—front and center—every step (and pedal) of the way.

If you want to get involved or become a sponsor, just message me here or drop a comment!

Thank you for being part of this ride and for believing in big goals, bold adventures, and the power of community. Here’s to many more finish lines together!
